This Irwin Ketch is rigged as a cutter/ketch with a Vetus bow thruster affording innumerable options for sail configurations in changing conditions and safe and secure options when maneuvering in tight quarters. It carries a two year old Ulmer135% genoa; a staysail next aft (the forestay and staysail have been removed for bay sailing, but convey with the boat and may be reinstalled); full battened Doyle mainsail in a Doyle Stack Pack; and mizzen sail completing the ketch rig.

There is a Spade anchor rated to hold a 54' sailboat mounted on the bow roller with 20' of 3/8" chain and 300' of 3/4" nylon rode. An additional 180' of chain conveys with the boat. A 66 lb CQR anchor with 250' of 3/4" nylon rode is stored in the aft lazarette. 

A LOFRANS Tigress electric windlass is mounted on the foredeck. A washdown system is also located on the foredeck. 

Standing rigging is stainless steel with Norseman fittings, inspected regularly and replaced as needed. There are a number of winches: two England 48's; three Barlow 19's; three Barlow 16's; and one Lewmar.

The center cockpit has a bimini and a full enclosure, new in December 2017, and is equipped with a folding cockpit table. All hatches have removable canvas covers. There is a boarding ladder to starboard and a swim ladder aft accompanied by a hand held cold water deck shower.

 Below decks, the forward compartment contains the V-berth as well as access to the chain locker and a 28 gal. holding tank under the berth with macerator pump for overboard discharge at sea or deck discharge in port; bow thruster; six drawers, four storage compartments and a hanging locker; two opening portlights and a large overhead hatch.

Just aft to port is the forward head compartment with electric toilet, sink and shower; one portlight and small overhead hatch.

Next aft is the main salon containing a comfortable settee to starboard and L-shaped dinette to port, each of which is convertible to a single berth. All seating has storage areas in back of and under the seats. The dining table is permanently affixed. The navigation station, including chart storage, is situated at the aft end of the port settee. The spacious salon has three overhead hatches, two large portlights on each side, one forward opening portlight and one aft, affording a view of the cockpit from below.

At the aft end of the salon to starboard is the well-equipped galley with a gimbaled three-burner propane stove/oven; a microwave oven; double stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, 11 gal. Isotemp stainless steel dual mode water heater and 250 gal. of fresh water in 3 tanks with completely new plumbing.There is a separate valve for filtered water with a two-stage filter. The built-in refrigeration and freezer units have separate compressors and electronic controls. The galley has abundant dinnerware storage in two lockers aft of the counter work space; three drawers for utensils, a dry storage compartment and bin storage for pots. There are two opening portlights providing ventilation.

Aft of the nav station is a settee which converts to upper and lower berths with storage under as well as two opening portlights.

The commodious Master cabin aft features an athwartships  queen berth with side storage and four drawers and two compartments beneath the bed. Additional storage is afforded by four drawers and a storage compartment to starboard, a hanging locker and deep storage locker to port a as well as a dressing seat with storage under, aft of the hanging locker. The aft cabin has one hatch and five opening portlights.

The aft cabin head is to starboard containing a manual toilet with 3-way discharge; directly overboard/ to a holding tank for deck discharge/ or to a macerator for overboard discharge; separate shower, stainless steel sink with storage under and two opening ports.
